Special visitors

April 23, 2014  -  Van Romans, President of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History welcomed Gary E. Knell, President and CEO of National Geographic and Dr. Fred Heibert, Archaeologist from National Geographic, to the Indiana Jones and the Adventure of Archaeology exhibit at the Museum. This exhibit, developed by X3 Productions and presented by National Geographic, features a vast and exclusive collection of Indiana Jones film props, models, concept art, and set designs from the Lucasfilm Archives along with some of the world’s most impressive material remains and real-world artifacts from ancient societies from the collections of the world-renowned Penn Museum and the National Geographic Society archives. Gary Knell and Dr. Fred Heibert, who helped develop the exhibition’s scientific and educational content, were able to take an extensive tour of the exhibit and are proud to present this exhibition to the public.
