GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMMING 2012

February 25 is Girls and Engineering Day  11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Created for Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors

Come for the entire day or just for a few hours!*  Your Girl Scouts will have many opportunities to interact with real engineers through engaging challenges and activities.  Build towers, things that fly, float and sink, and electronics dissections are just activities they can do alongside women engineers.  These hands-on activities will focus on the core skills of engineering-design, modeling, experimentation and teamwork.  Each girl will complete the requirements for a S.T.E.A.M. patch, which can be purchased at the Girl Scouts offices after the workshop.   Additionally, each girl will receive Museum exhibit admission for the entire day!

*We anticipate that all requirements can be completed in two hours, but your registration allows you to spend as much time in the exhibits as you are able. The event starts at 11:00 a.m. and the check-in table will be staffed until 3:30 p.m.
