Please Help Us Today!

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History began in 1941 with the collective vision of eight elementary educators. Their vision, however, was anything but elementary! Recognizing the value of learning by seeing and doing, they desired to form a museum that would provide children with new insights into the natural world under the guise of fun. Today, the vision burns strong because individuals, corporations and foundations throughout the years have understood how important the Museum’s mission is to our community. The Museum has become one of the nation’s finest museums, respected throughout the country for its rich educational programs and its creative approaches to making learning innovative, accessible, and engaging for children, teachers, and families.

Your support continues the tradition. Contributions ensure the highest quality exhibits, films and programs are available; provide award-winning teacher professional development programs designed to improve math and science instruction; offer social studies, history and science resources to educators; underwrite field trips and innovative classroom experiences; and enable the Museum to remain an affordable educational and recreational resource to everyone. Simply put, your support is an investment in our community and accomplishes much!
