Explore the World Through Their Eyes

Meet These Local Changemakers

Five Teens

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our physical and social environments. What can we learn from these changes, and how can we move the focus from problem to solution? Five local teens have stepped forward as changemakers. They have designed creative, practical approaches for solving global and pandemic-related issues, and each has created a 2-minute video showcasing their plan. All five are competing internationally in the Global CoLab Network's Teens Dream Changemaker Challenge in collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution.

On Friday, March 5, we premiered these videos at the Museum’s first ever drive-in theater! Check out the videos below to see all five teen visions for building a more sustainable future. The last video is a recording of the entire March 5 event.  Our future is in good hands!
