Viewing of a Partial Solar Eclipse

Partial Solar Eclipse from 2009The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is bringing together local Space Science advocates and the Fort Worth Astronomical Society to help the public understand more about the moon. On Thursday, October 23rd, from 2:00pm to 7:00pm, CST, audiences have a chance to observe a partial solar eclipse at the museum.

Lunar expert Ken Murphy of The Moon Society will be on hand to answer questions about Moon exploration past, present and future.

The event is free and will take place in the member parking lot at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
