Frequently Asked Questions
What is my membership number?
Your membership ID number can be found in your New Member Welcome email. Please contact us if you do not know your Member ID number.
Can I still get a physical membership card?
Click HERE and enter your membership ID # and your last name to print your membership card. (In an effort to be more sustainable, we are no longer offering plastic cards.)
Do I need a photo ID?
Yes, a photo ID in addition to your digital membership card will still be required for admission to our museum, as well as any reciprocal institutions.
Can both cardholders download the digital membership cards?
Yes! Please download your card on any device you may use. Each cardholder will be required to present photo ID when using their membership card.
Can my family/a caregiver come in without me?
A membership cardholder must be present to receive membership benefits. Contact us to add a caregiver to your membership!
How do I use Guest Passes?
Digital guest passes can be found on your digital membership card. Our Box Office will validate your digital guest passes as you redeem them.
Can I upgrade my membership on the EMembership App?
Membership upgrades must be done in person or by phone.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Memberships are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Memberships expire on the last day of the month, one year from the date of purchase. Membership card and valid photo ID required at the box office. Up to two named cardholders, over the age of 18, may be listed on the membership account. At least one member named on the membership account must be present and is included in the admission count when you visit. You may add an Authorized User to your account for $25 for caregivers, such as nannies, babysitters, and grandparents who may not live in your household. Membership privileges cannot be applied to school groups or school visits. Prices subject to change.
Texas certified educators, first responders, and active military personnel, present your photo ID badge at the Box Office to receive a 10% discount on your membership purchase!

As a community-based, community-serving non-profit, we rely on revenue from our membership programs and general attendance visitors to create great experiences. Both enable us to open our doors, have staff to welcome you, care for animals and collections, and make upgrades throughout our buildings to keep everyone safe in the face of COVID-19. In the event that the Museum closes for one month or more, all memberships will automatically be extended one month for every month the Museum stays closed. Refunds will not be provided.
TAX DEDUCTION

Reciprocal Organizations
Local Reciprocal Admission Agreements
Available for Wonder, Imagine, and Lamplighter Membership Level
As an added benefit, if you purchase a membership at the Wonder level or above, you are entitled to visit the Perot Museum of Nature & Science and Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary (maximum 2 adults and 3 children) through a separate local agreement. Through this agreement, participants only receive free reciprocal general admission. This agreement does not apply to education programs, special engagements, or other store/museum discounts. Reciprocity is not available during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
Purchase of a membership at the Wonder level or above grants general admission to the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary and the Perot Museum of Nature & Science. Participants do not receive membership benefits at participating local museums.
Before visiting the Perot Museum of Nature & Science and/or the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, be sure to check that organization's website and/or call to confirm participation in the FWMSH Reciprocal Admissions Program, hours of operation, exclusions, and blackout dates. You may be required to show a photo ID.
(ASTC) Travel Passport Program
Available for ALL Membership Levels
Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, at all levels, includes reciprocal free general admission to over 300 science centers and museums worldwide through the ASTC Travel Passport Program. Please note: this program excludes residents within a 90-mile radius of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
If you are a member of another ASTC passport museum or science center and wish to visit the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, please note that we abide by the residency policy and check your photo ID. Our current ASTC admission policy allows up to two adults and two children living in the same household to visit for free, and does not include admittance to the Omni Theater.
Association of Children’s Museums ACM Network
Available for Wonder, Imagine, and Lamplighter Membership Level
For our Wonder or Imagine members - Over 200 museums participate in the Association of Children’s Museums ACM Network and reciprocate 50% off general admission for up to six people. The card holder must be present for discounted admission.
