Family STEAM Festival

Held at your school

The Family STEAM Festival brings the excitement of the museum experience directly to your school. The festival features a variety of hands-on activities, demonstrations, and a live science show. Our dedicated staff handles setup, breakdown, and facilitates the program for your students and their families. We request the assistance of teachers and school volunteers who will help with family check-ins, actively engage with families and activities, to create a safe and enjoyable environment. There are no limitations on the number of families that can participate in the festival.

Contact us at STEAMFestival@fwmsh.org for more information or to be added to our email registration list.

We hold the festivals on Tuesday and Thursday nights only.

Unfortunately, 6 PM - 8 PM is the only time frame that we offer.

We follow the Fort Worth ISD schedule for breaks and holidays. We do not schedule programming directly around holiday times, testing, and other busier times that may not work well with your school’s community.

No, you will need to contact outreach@fwmsh.org for information on our Family Museum Nights, which are held at the museum. Scroll down for more info!

Completed forms are due by the date listed on the registration form. The registration link can be found above.

We do take late registration forms and inquires, but we cannot guarantee we will have festival dates open. Send us an email at STEAMFestival@fwmsh.org and we can let you know what dates we have open.

Family Museum Night

Held at the Museum

At Family Museum Night, your students and their families come to the Museum for an exciting night of exhibits, planetarium shows, and hands-on science demonstrations. Our staff will facilitate interaction with participants and the exhibits. Your school will provide 10-14 teachers and/or other volunteers to check in families and monitor participants for safety and appropriateness. There is not a limit to the number of participants from your school that can attend.

Contact us at outreach@fwmsh.org for more information or to be added to our email registration list.
