We have some great things in store for you this year and we can’t wait to get started. We are committed to bringing powerful first-hand learning experiences to you and your students that will enhance and support your curriculum.

There is something for everyone at the Museum, from our exhibitions and Innovation Studios and Gallery, to the Fort Worth Children’s Museum Gallery, Noble Planetarium and the Omni Theater. The Cattle Raisers Museum and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame join us in providing a safe, accessible and flexible experience for you and your students.

When you call, tell us:

  • Omni Field Trips: Date preference, film preference, time preference

  • Exhibits Field Trips: Date preference

  • Planetarium Field Trips: Date preference, show preference, time preference

  • Point person’s name, school, complete address, phone number, ESC Region

  • Number of students, grade level and any special needs

  • Required Adults: PK-K: 1 adult/6 students; 1-12: 1 adult/10 students admitted free

  • Number of additional adults: Group Services will provide pricing

All students must be accompanied by a adult at all times.
You will receive pre-visit information in an e-mail with your reservation confirmation and related documents.

Just a reminder:

  • All dates and times are subject to change. Please visit our webiste for up to date information.

  • Membership benefits may not be used for school visits.

  • Please store your lunches on the bus. We do not have any lunch storage on-site.

  • You may picnic on the grassy areas around the Museum for lunch.

  • During inclement weather, a Guest Services Representative will direct you to a place for your class to eat their lunch. Sign-up sheets will be available at check-in.

  • Paid parking began in the Cultural District May 1, 2010. More information and a fee structure can be found on the City of Fort Worth’s parking guide: culturaldistrictparking.com

A minimum of 15 is required for group rates. Call our Group Services Department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 817-255-9440. Our helpful staff will advise you of available show times and suggest the best programs and combinations for your group. We’ll make you look like a genius!

Don’t Forget to SHOP TOO!
Take home a memento of your Museum experience with a visit to Shop Too!, the Museum’s new store. You’ll find science kits, fossils, toys, DVDs and much more! There’s something for everyone!

Refuel in the STARS CAFÉ
Enjoy sandwiches, pizza, pasta, gourmet hamburgers, regional favorites and menu items just for kids in the spacious Stars Café.

Fun Fact
The full length feature films over on the Quick Turn Reel Unit, added in Sept. 2005, can hold a two and a half hour movie, weighing in at over 700 pounds and stretching over 9 miles long!
