Becoming Jane

May 24 - September 1

Exhibition open from May 24, 2025 – September 1, 2025

“Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Dr. Jane Goodall” is a captivating exhibition that chronicles the extraordinary journey of Dr. Jane Goodall, a pioneering figure in STEM. Through immersive multimedia experiences, visitors explore her adventurous childhood in England to her groundbreaking research in Tanzania. Then step into a holographic representation of Tanzania’s Gombe Stream National Park, the site of her renowned chimpanzee studies. The exhibition also features a life-size hologram, a replica of her research tent, and highlights her current roles in community-centered conservation and youth empowerment. As the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, Dr. Goodall fearlessly delved into the world of chimpanzees, offering a unique perspective on our closest living relatives.

This exhibition is organized by National Geographic in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute.

Becoming Jane is included with general admission or museum membership. This exhibit can be found on the second floor, in the Havener temporary exhibits gallery.
