Educator Day in the District is an open house event that invites educators to visit five hosting locations and learn about resources and programs designed for K–12 students and teachers for the upcoming school year.
Who can attend?
- K–12 educators who work at area public and private schools
- Homeschool parents
- Pre-service teachers attending area colleges and universities
- Families of the above educators
What happens during this FREE event?
- Free admission to exhibitions for educators and their families (10 AM – 5 PM)
- Free educational resources for educators to use with students (12 PM – 4 PM)
- Free promotional materials for exhibitions and school/teacher programs (12 PM – 4 PM)

- Fort Worth Museum of Science and History (Fort Worth Botanic Garden, Cattle Raisers Museum, Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge)
- Amon Carter Museum of American Art (Artes de la Rosa, Inc., Fort Worth Public Library)
- Kimbell Art Museum (The Cliburn, Fort Worth Public Library, National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum)
- Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth (Tarrant County Black Historical & Genealogical Society, Sid Richardson Museum)
