For over 70 years, Museum School has been a leader in informal science education. The engaging classroom environments and activities are facilitated by enthusiastic educators who support the joy of learning through discovery. Specimens and artifacts from the Museum’s teaching collection are featured.
STEM Squad classes are for guests ages 6-12 years old. These full + half day classes occur on Mondays or Saturdays, beginning September 10th. Full day classes cost $75 per student and half day classes cost $30 per student. All class fees include a $10 non-refundable registration fee and supplies.
STEM Squad class topics vary each session, always keeping an engineering focus with a creative slant. Activities are designed so that students are able to construct their own knowledge of the world through hands-on experiences. This year’s theme is CELEBRATE STEAM! We are excited to explore holidays, customs, and traditions through the lens of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
