Wild Kratts®: Creature Power®!, an interactive exhibit based on the popular PBS Kids series, will open at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History on September 21st. In this exhibit – created by Minnesota Children’s Museum in collaboration with the Kratt Brothers Company – kids and families explore four animal habitats and the creatures within them.
“We’re thrilled to bring ‘Wild Kratts®: Creature Power®!’ to Fort Worth,” says Nikki Diller, Vice President of Collections, Interpretation, and Programs. “This interactive exhibit perfectly complements our mission of sparking curiosity and igniting a passion for science in young minds. By combining engaging activities with real-world animal exploration, ‘Wild Kratts®: Creature Power®!’ promises an unforgettable experience for families.”
“Wild Kratts®: Creature Power®!” will be on display September 21, 2024 through January 5, 2025 in Innovations East gallery. This adventurous exhibit – which focuses on cultivating STEM skills in children ages 3 to 9 – invites kids and families to explore animal habitats from around the globe, discover incredible creature powers and go on a mission to foil the villains’ nefarious plans.
“This exhibit will get kids moving and thinking while they explore important concepts in science and the natural world,” said Chris Kratt, executive producer of Wild Kratts and co-founder of The Kratt Brothers Company.
Visitors will explore four animal habitats including the Tropical Rainforest, The Antarctic, an Australian Outback Desert, and your very own neighborhood! Kids and families will get the chance to learn about and try out various Creature Powers® such as sneaking through the forest using the stealth of a jaguar, swinging through the trees like a spider monkey, testing their hops against a kangaroo, and much more!
On September 21st, Museum members receive early access to the exhibit with a private, members only preview. From 10 AM – 11 AM, members can climb through the rainforest, hop from iceberg to iceberg in the arctic, and even explore the creatures found around their own backyard! Beginning at 11 AM, the exhibit will be open to the general public.
The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM – 5 PM, and Sunday, Noon – 5 PM. Special hours may apply. The exhibit is included with museum admission or membership. Admission is $14 for seniors, $16 for adults, $12 for juniors, and free for children under two years old.
