Museum connects the community to National Chemistry Week, October 22, 2021 – October 24, 2021
From October 22 – October 24, guests will be able to explore the exciting world of reaction rates, including how temperature, pressure, concentration, and more affect how fast or slow a reaction happens. On Saturday, October 23, the Museum will have Fort Worth-area chemistry students on-site to lead Chemistry Week demonstrations. Participants will have the opportunity to observe fascinating reactions, discover why reactions happen using dry ice and glow sticks, and learn how to build their own molecules using materials they can find around the home. Chemistry Week activities are suited for all ages.
